Beachfront Bliss!

We loved how the ocean was literally steps away! Chilling by the stunning pool and soaking in the sun with a drink was the perfect way to spend the day. The food was super tasty, especially the bircher muesli at breakfast. Just wish the wifi was a bit stronger. it dropped a lot.

The well-designed room provided a cozy atmosphere, while the attentive staff made our experience feel personalized and welcoming. The refreshing cocktails truly enhanced our relaxing afternoons by the pool.

this hotel is such a hidden gem! the place is stunning and right on the beach, which is perfect for swimming and walks. the attention to detail in the decor is amazin, and the food is delish, especially the cocktails. the staff are super friendly and make you feel right at home. had the best time celebrating my bday with the special touches they added for me.

the aircon was kinda loud next to the bed, and some things like tea making facilities weren't in the room, which was annoying.

While the rooms were generally well-kept, there were minor cleanliness issues around the grounds that detracted slightly from the overall experience. some amenities were available on request, making it feel a bit less convenient. The pool area was well-maintained and created a perfectly relaxing vibe.

The food at Halcyon Mawella was an absolute culinary delight—especially the fresh seafood dishes that had me swooning! The beachfront location offered stunning views, and the warm beach vibes made every moment feel like a mini-vacation in paradise. Plus, the owner Zander was super hands-on, making our experience feel personal and special.

Now, a cheeky poke, no kettle in the room left me longing for that cozy morning brew. And with the lack of a mirror in the bathroom, styling my hair post-hairdryer became a bit of a challenge.

Finding the place was a bit tricky. better signage from the main road would help a lot. The air conditioning unit is situated right beside the bed, which might not be ideal for everyone. While most amenities were available on request like hairdryers and tea making facilities, it would have been nicer if they were already in the room. There was also some rubbish scattered from the beach to the garden area that detracted a bit from the overall vibe.
